SCT-09 Yangon - Khamti - Lahe - Khamti - Mandalay - Yangon (7Days/6Nights)

Day 1 : Yangon Arrival

Arrival at Yangon Int’l Airport in the morning, welcomed by your Sweet Cherry tour guide and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing in Yangon includes Karaweik Hall, a royal floating barge, for photo stop; Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years ago. Then enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular monuments. If arriving at Yangon Int'l Airport in the evening, welcomed by your Sweet Cherry tour guide and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 : Yangon-Khamti-Naga Land

Breakfast at hotel. Fly about 3-hrs from Yangon to Khamti. Then half hours cruise (3 nautical mile-up stream) from Khamti to Sinthe Village and five hours (62km-up hill) from Sinthe Village to Lahe by light airy truck. Lunch at Nant Za Lein creek bridge camp which is half way to festival ground. Proceed with the journey and arrive onto The Naga Land in the evening. Dinner at Lahe. Overnight in Lahe at Naga Style house.

Day 3 : Lahe

Optional Trekking Tour to nearby villages. Lunch and dinner at Lahe. (Lunch box will be provided on request for nature lovers). Overnight in Lahe

Day 4 : Lahe

Naga Pole Erection Ceremony of 2005 New Year and pre-sports contests in the morning. Lunch & Leisure. Performance of Naga youth by stage show in the evening and dinner. Overnight in Lahe

Day 5 : Lahe

Opening Ceremony of Naga New Year Festival 2005. Presentation of Naga Historical background, Donation from private and public sectors to Naga, Feast of Naga local food with rice wine, celebrating the new year with Naga Traditional Dance and Naga Pan (Traditional Drum). After lunch enjoy Naga sports contest. After dinner, evening enjoyments with Naga Traditional Dance & Bonfire. Overnight in Lahe.

Day 6 : Lahe-Khamti-Yangon

Say goodbye to Naga for their New Year Festival 2005 and back to Khamti by the same route and fly back to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 7 : Yangon Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Morning leisure and afternoon transfer to Yangon Int'l Airport for departure flight to next destination.
